Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
Responsibility for Recruitment, attraction, and talent acquisition.
Implement strategies to showcase the SydWest brand and promote as an employer of choice.
Review the current Recruitment process and utilise the HRIS to develop a talent pool for ongoing critical roles.
Utilise the HRIS to facilitate seamless recruitment and onboarding experience for new employees.
Coordinate the planning, implementation, and evaluation of allocated People & Culture tasks aimed at enhancing organisational productivity and workplace culture.(related to talent acquisition and Learning and development)
Design, deliver, and evaluate training and development initiatives to support employee growth and capability building.
Utilise the HRIS Learning modules to develop training plans specific to front line roles, and for individual development and compliance.
Provide reporting on recruitment metrics and training completion and compliance.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and SydWest policies throughout all practices.
This role requires someone who is proactive, empathetic, and adept at building relationships across various levels of the organisation. The People & Culture Specialist will be instrumental in shaping the employee experience throughout their journey at SydWest Multicultural Services Limited.
Desired Skills and Experience
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in HR or a relevant discipline.
4+ years of experience in a specialized HR function (e.g., recruitment, training).
Project coordination, communication and attention to detail.
Comprehensive understanding of human resources principles, practices and legislation.
Excellent project management skills, including planning, execution, monitoring and reporting.
Solid knowledge and experience with employment legislation and compliance requirements.
Ability to work with people from different backgrounds and meet the changing requirements of the function.
Experience in designing and delivering training and development programs is highly regarded.
Experience working within a multicultural organisation and/or community services environment, with exposure to training and development, is highly desirable.
